Funeral services for Carl Darting, Muscatine, brother of Mrs. Joseph Martin, Tipton, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Nov. 4) at the George H. Wittch funeral home in Muscatine. Burial is in Greenwood cemetery.

Mr. Darting died Nov. 2 at University hospitals, Iowa City, following a 2-week illness.

Mr. Darting was born in Indiana and lived in Muscatine most of his life. He is survived by his wife, a son, Dewaine, Chicago; 3 sisters, Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Mazo Hesford, Muscatine and Mrs. Inez Smull, Wilton and 4 grandchildren.
