Karen Kampendahl, 59, a resident of Washington, IA and formerly of Muscatine, IA and Wauconda, IL passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at her group home surrounded by her loving family and caregivers.

Karen was a sweet soul and will be deeply missed by her mother, Violet Kampendahl of Muscatine IA; sister Kris (Dennis) Rowe of Muscatine IA; brother Karl Kampendahl of Wauconda IL; and several nieces and nephews, their spouses and children, and special friend, Erik Anderson of Lake Zurich, IL.

A gathering of family and friends will take place with a visitation on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 10:30-11:30 am at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home at 235 N Main St. in Wauconda, IL 60084. A graveside service will follow at Windridge Memorial Park at 7014 S. Rawson Rd. In Cary, IL 60013.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Systems Unlimited Inc., 109 Marion Ave. in Washington, IA.
