CONESVILLE-Diana Lynn McMeekan, age 58, of Conesville, Iowa, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at her residence. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the American Legion Hall, 99 2nd St., Columbus Junction, IA. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Columbus Junction is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Diana was born January 2, 1963 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Richard "Dick" and Barbara (Payne) Jones. She was united in marriage to Ricky McMeekan on September 30, 1982 in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Diana received her Masters Degree in Accounting at the age of 47 and became Plant Controller for Tyson in Columbus Junction. She was very passionate about her job and was honored to work for the company her father retired from. She spoke frequently of her "girls" in accounting and enjoyed working with them. Diana loved her weiner dogs Mocha Marie, Brady Max and Rockwell Lane. She enjoyed watching HGTV for renovation ideas and decorating inspiration.

Diana will be deeply missed by her husband, Ricky McMeekan of Conesville, Iowa; son, Brian McMeekan and wife Nickole of Geneseo, Illinois; daughter, Abbi Wilson and wife Ashley of Meta, Missouri; grandchildren: Hunter Erickson, Landyn McMeekan, Tristan Erickson, Rhylee McMeekan and Andi Jo Wilson; special niece, Ronni Watson and husband Nick of Sherrard, Illinois; sister, Rhonda Lowery of Milan, Illinois; brother, Richard Jones and wife Betsy of Alpharetta, Georgia; and close family friend, Shanna Bragg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jeffrey Jones.
