Mrs. Emma Beiermann, 75, a lifetime resident of West Liberty, died April 11 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City after an extended illness.

Funeral services were April 13 in West Liberty. The Rev. Harland Gant officiated, with burial in Inland Cemetery at Bennett.

Mrs. Beiermann was born Jan. 28, 1893, the daughter of Fred and Minnie DeMott Schneider. She was the widow of John Beiermann.

Surviving are 2 sons, Glenn Beiermann and Fred Beiermann, both of West Branch; 5 brothers, John, George, William, Fred and LeRoy Schneider, all of West Liberty; 5 sisters, Mrs. Mabel Jensen and Mrs. Alma Heick, both of West Liberty, Mrs. Mary LaMack of Davenport and Mrs. Minnie Schroeder and Mrs. Agnes Kortum, both of Tipton; a grandchild and 3 step-grandchildren.
