Clifford (Sisco) Sisk, 70, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harlan (June) Phillips, Route 1, Atalissa, Feb. 7 following a heart attack.

Mr. Sisk was born in December of 1897 at Hamletsburg, Ill. and had lived in the Atalissa area most of his life.

A member of the American Legion and a veteran of World War II, Mr. Sisk was a retired button cutter.

Surviving are 3 daughters: Mrs. Phillips, with whom he made his home; Mrs. Kathryn Oliver, Pamona, Calif.; Mrs. Darlene Kelley, Muscatine; and a son, David E. Sisk, Mansfield, Ill. Also, 6 grandchildren and a 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, his parents and 2 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Feb. 9 at Muscatine, Rev. Walter R. Ross of the Faith United Church of Christ officiated and burial was at Greenwood cemetery. Military rites were conducted jointly by the American Legion and VFW.
