Funeral services for Albert F. Morris, 69, Muscatine, father of Mrs. Robert Kretschmar, Tipton, were held Aug. 6 at Wilton Junction with the Rev. Harland T. Gant officiating. Burial was in Spencer cemetery, Stockport.

Mr. Morris died Aug. 4 at Muscatine General hospital following a long illness.

He was born April 22, 1898 in Shawneetown, Ill., the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Owens Morris, and was a former resident of Seymour.

He married Ethel Philips on Nov. 6, 1926 in Chicago, Ill. Mr. Morris was a retired farmer and a Methodist.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Albert Morris, Muscatine; 4 sons, Albert W. Morris, Muscatine, James L. Morris, West Liberty, Robert E. Morris, East Moline, Ill., and Donald S. Morris, Ft. Byron, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Kretschmar, Tipton; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Inghram, Dixon, Ill.; a brother, Eugene Morris, Shawneetown, Ill. and 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Donald, and a brother.
