MUSCATINE-Bethany L. Sissel, 39, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Trinity Hospital, Muscatine. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine. Interment will be in Nichols Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Bethany's name. Bethany Lynn Sissel was born on April 13, 1982 in Iowa, City, Iowa the daughter of David Arthur and Mary Beth (Mills) Sissel. Bethany was a 2001 graduate of Muscatine High School. She enjoyed walking her dog, Abby, playing video games-especially Assassin's Creed, working in her yard, landscaping, playing softball for the Muskies and Batbusters and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, but most of all she loved to spend time with her family.

Bethany will be deeply missed by her parents, David and Mary Beth Sissel of Muscatine; brother, Ben (Rachel) Sissel of Nixa, Missouri; sister, Meredith Sissel of Milan, Illinois; paternal grandmother, Virginia Sissel of Muscatine and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Bethany was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Arthur Sissel and maternal grandparents, Ben and Edith Mills.
