Dr. J. S. Kulp, founder and for many years head of the Iowa State Dental society, and one of the pioneer dentists of the state, dropped dead at his home in Muscatine.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Jan. 5, 1841 and died Feb. 28, 1916. He is buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
