Mrs. George E. Schmitt, 77, of Wilton Junction, died in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Viola Dickey, Muscatine April 8.

Services were April 11 in Wilton Junction, with burial in Klein cemetery.

Ada Garvin was born in Muscatine county. She married Mr. Schmitt in 1913 in Muscatine. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Dickey and Maxine Schmitt, Muscatine; a sister, Mrs. Glenn Thomas, Topeka, Kan.; a grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren.
