Heart Ailment Proves Fatal To Mrs. Sabbath, 84

Mrs. Louise Schroeder Sabbath, 84, a resident of Muscatine county for 60 years, died at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday at her home in Sweetland township. Death followed a short illness with a heart ailment.
Mrs. Sabbath was born in Brannenburg, Germany, March 2, 1867, the daughter of Henry and Henrietta Grossklaus Schroeder. Her marriage to Carl W. Sabbath took place in Muscatine on March 14, 1900. She was a member of Zion Lutheran church and of the Zion Lutheran Ladies’ Aid.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Buster and Mrs. Fred Binggeli, both of Muscatine, a sister, Mrs. Albert Neitzel, Muscatine; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Walter Sabbath who died Feb. 18, three brothers and two sisters.
The body has been taken to the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at Zion Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Hartwig Harms, pastor. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
