Muscatine - Fairy "Toby" Belle Meyer, 78, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Lutheran Living.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. No services will be held. Memorial may be made to Senior Resources Inc. in Muscatine. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com .

Fairy was born on September 2, 1942, in Muscatine, the daughter of Woodrow and Eva Jane Saunders Tobias. She married Woodrow Meyer on October 14, 1961, in Muscatine.

Fairy taught her family how to be a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed going to the sporting events of her children and grandchildren. Fairy loved to spend time with her family around the table where there was a lot of playing games and banter.

Fairy is survived by her husband, Woodrow of Muscatine; her children, Lynann Edkin of Illinois City, Illinois, Mindy Hays and her husband, Dan, of Seward, Nebraska, and Matt Meyer and his wife, Karen, of Muscatine; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Taylor of Davenport.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Joyce Holmes.
