Funeral services for Ivan Walters, 64, were held May 17 at the Dye funeral home with the Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Burial was in the Oakland cemetery at Iowa City.

Mr. Walters died suddenly at his home near Moscow May 14.

The son of Andrew and Barbara Walters, he was born Sept. 11, 1900 in Johnson county where he attended grade school. He lived in the Iowa City and Moscow area where he farmed.

He is survived by 3 sisters: Florence Walters, Iowa City; Minnie Walters, Morse and Esther Walters, Moscow; 3 brothers: Henry, Antigo, Wis., and Elias and Emery, both of Iowa City.
