Funeral services for Mrs. Lida E. Connor, 92, a lifelong resident of the West Liberty area, were held May 17 at West Liberty. Burial was in Oakridge cemetery.

Mrs. Connor died May 14 at the home of her son, John, in Atalissa, following a lingering illness.

She was born to Charles and Mary Millett Phelps July 31, 1872, at Springdale. She married John Connor April 5, 1895 at Springdale. Mrs. Conner was a member of the Christian church.

She is survived by 2 sons: John E., Atalissa, and Carlos J., Cedar Rapids; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 sons, her husband and a grandchild.
