BROOKHART, ANNA FOLEY

WEST LIBERTY – Mrs. Anna Brookhart, 90, of West Liberty, died Saturday evening at Oakwood nursing home in Muscatine.
She was born Nov. 6, 1877 in Muscatine County, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Sweeney Foley. She married Joseph R. Brookhart on Sept. 28, 1921 at Iowa City.
Surviving are: one step-son, Edmund of West Liberty; and several step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1966, her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Requiem mass will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic church in West Liberty with the Rev. J.J. Fath officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s cemetery in Nichols. Rev. fath will recite the rosary at 8 p.m. today at Snider funeral home in West Liberty.
