After an illness of several weeks’ duration, Miss Alice Liebis passed away this morning at her home, 1109 Mulberry avenue. A complication of ailments is given as the cause of her demise.
The decedent was born in Iowa City 66 years ago, and had been a resident of this city for a number of years. She is survived only by her mother, Mrs. Augusta Liebia.
Funeral services are announced to be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence, the Rev. C. L. Young, pastor of the United Brethren church, officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood cemetery.

Funeral services over the remains of Miss Alice Liebis, who succumbed to a complication of ailments at her home, 1109 Mulberry avenue, Thursday morning were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the family residence. The services were conducted by Rev. C. L. Young. The following friends of the deceased served as pallbearers: Hans Munson, Fred Glesler, Will Gellar, John Mull, Jacob P. Schomberg and A. J. Neidig. Interment was made in the Greenwood cemetery.
Among the out of town relatives who were here for the funeral were Mrs. Ella Kasper, Anna Kasper, Henry Kasper, Richard Kasper, Mrs. Ida Kasper, Miss Stella Kasper, Wilford Kasper, Mr. and Mrs. John Sellman, all of Iowa City; Mrs. Sadie Colladz, Frank Stritmatter, Miss May and Sybillia Stritmatter, Mrs. Della Stritmatter, all of Atlantic; Frank Welland of Fremont, Nebraska, and Henry Kasper of Newport, Iowa.
