Funeral services for Christine Kay Shoppa, 9, were held Oct. 12 at Muscatine. Christine died Oct. 10 in the University Hospitals, Iowa City.

She was born Jan. 21, 1953, in Muscatine, the daughter of John A. and Norma Reynolds Shoppa. She was a student in the Durant school.

Surviving are the parents; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Shoppa, Wilton Junction, Mrs. Alide Reynolds of Muscatine and William Butts, Rock Island, Ill.; great-grandparents, Mrs. Ana Miller, Muscatine and Mrs. Cora Butts, Rock Island, Ill.; one brother, Michael Allen, and 2 sisters, Candyce Jean and Sherri Lynn, at home.

She was preceded in death by one brother.
