Martha Levina Stitt Rauschenberg, 84, died at her home, 705 East Fourth street, at 10 p.m. Saturday after an illness of one week.
She was born Feb. 8, 1858 in Louisa county and had made her home there until eight years ago when she came to Muscatine. She was married to Harry Rauschenberg Oct. 18, 1886 at Burnick, Mo.
Surviving are six children, Elmer Rauschenberg, Grandview, Mrs. Mary Heitman, Muscatine, Clarence, of Muscatine, Mrs. Florence Campbell, Martin Rauschenberg, Muscatine, and Mrs. Minerva Manley, Portland, Ore.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairbanks Home for Funerals by the Rev. Lee Allen, pastor of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery.
