Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Wilton Junction for William (Dick) Thompson, 68, who died suddenly at 7:30 p.m. April 15 at his home in Moscow. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

The Rev. Robert G. Farr will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Muscatine.

A son of William and Elizabeth Jurshman Thompson, he was born May 4, 1894, in Moscow township, Muscatine county, and spent his entire life in the area. His marriage to Lila Tharp took place March 29, 1917 at Muscatine. He was a member of the Moscow Methodist church.

Surviving are his wife; a brother, Joseph, Moscow; and a sister, Mrs. John (Pearl) Weikert, Muscatine. His parents, one sister and one brother preceded him in death.
