ACCIDENTAL DEATH VERDICT OF JURY
At the inquest held at Davenport last evening the coroner's jury rendered a verdict freeing the Rock Island railroad of any blame in the death of Miss Ada Hall, the former Muscatine girl who was killed on Wednesday evening. According to the jury, the child met her death while crossing the railroad tracks, and as she did not notice the oncoming passenger train and the engineer was unable to see her on account of a passing freight train, the accident was pronounced accidental.
The funeral of the little girl was held this afternoon at 2:30 from the First Methodist church. Rev. Osborn conducted the service. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery.
