Mrs. Jones, 76, Death Occurs at Residence Here

Mrs. Bertha Jones, 76, died early this afternoon at her home, 514 East Tenth street. The body was removed to the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home, where arrangements for rites are pending.

Survivors include her husband Henry Jones; two sons, Bernard Baumgardner, Minneapolis, Minn. And Everett Baumgardner, Muscatine; two daughters, Mrs. Harlo Clark and Mrs. Verna Finley, both of Rock Island; one step-son, Otto Jones, Marion, Ala.; one step-daughter, Miss Juanita Jones, Carthage, Ill,; one sister, Mrs. Anna Jones Chillicothe, Ill.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Rites – Mrs. Bertha Jones
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home for Mrs. Bertha Jones, 76, who died Friday at her home, 511 East Tenth street.

The Rev C. R. Gesell, pastor of the Grace Luthera church,officiated. Mrs. George Holliday was organist and Mrs. Leroy Logel vocalist.
