Son of Leonard and Bertha Heiland.
Muscatine Journal Tuesday November 13, 1900
Sunday morning, at 9:20 o'clock, at the home of his father, 105 Clinton street, South Muscatine, occurred the death of George Heiland, after an illness of nine days with typhoid fever. He was born in Germany, and had attained the age of 17 years, 7 months and 26 days. Mr. and Mrs. Heiland, the latter his stepmother, and two brothers survive.
The funeral was conducted from the house this afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. G. Meier, of the German Lutheran church, conducting the services, and a large company of friends being present.
