MRS. A. R. KING IS FLU VICTIM
Influenza claimed another victim in Muscatine Sunday. Mrs. A.R. King died at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bishop, 218 1/2 Mulberry avenue, following a brief illness. Influenza which developed into pneumonia caused her death. She was 31 years of age.
Mrs. King, who was formerly Nellie Bishop, was born February 7, 1887, in this city. In 1910 she was united in marriage with A.R. King. Shortly after the couple moved to Leavenworth, Kansas, and has resided there since. Mrs. King was visiting her parents when stricken with influenza.
To survive, she leaves her husband and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bishop, of this city.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon from the Meyers undertaking parlor on Walnut street. Burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery.
