Funeral services will be held July 29 at Wilton Junction for Mrs. Vinnie Smith, 80, of Atalissa.

Mrs. Smith died July 25 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City. She had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Harold McDaniel, Atalissa.

Services were conducted by Paul Boaz, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Pallbearers were Alvin Reeves, Kermit Smith, Morris Smith, Robert Smith, Keith Smith and Charles Smith.

Attending the flowers were Mrs. Keith Smith and Mrs. Robert Smith. Burial was in the Moscow cemetery.

Vinnie Currier Smith was born April 24, 1880 at Bloomington, now Muscatine, the daughter of Milliard and Nancy Jones Currier. She spent most of her life in the Wilton Junction vicinity.

She was married to Henry Smith in 1903. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Moscow Methodist church and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors include 4 sons, Millard of Clinton, Louis of Muscatine, C. Earl (Bill) of Davenport, and Dean of Wilton Junction; 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold (Gretchen) McDaniel, Atalissa; and Mrs. Gardner (Betty) Morgan, Muscatine; 2 sisters, Mrs. Hattie Harris, Wilton Junction and Mrs. Treva Risley, Muscatine; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Helen and a sister, Mrs. Frank Slach, Cedar Rapids.
