Mrs. Frank Barkhurst, 73, died March 7 in her home in West Liberty. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Snider Funeral home in West Liberty. Burial will be in the South Bethel cemetery.

The former Eva Larue was a native of Atalissa. She was married to Mr. Barkhurst in March of 1908. She had been a resident of West Liberty for the past 31 years. She was a member of the Methodist church at Rochester.

Surviving are her husband; 3 sons, Lester, Herbert, and Harold, all of West Liberty; 2 daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Pedersen, West Liberty, and Mrs. Lorena Beaver, Atalissa; a brother, Joel Larue of Boston Spa, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. John DeVore, Boston Spa, and Mrs. Harvey Scull of Phoenix, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
