Karl Geise, 67, a retired Wilton Junction brick mason, died Sunday at Mercy hospital in Davenport after a short illness.

Mr. Geise was born Jan. 19, 1889, in Germany and came to this country in 1922. He married Wilhelmina Dohrmund. He was a member of the Grace Evangelical & Reformed church of Wilton Junction.

Surviving are six sons, Herman, Reinhardt, Arthur and Carl Geise, all of Wilton Junction; William, Moline, and John, Green Rock, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Wiebel, Moscow and Mrs. Sherman Gerels, Muscatine; one brother, Henry Geise, Wapello; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Bartscher, Wilton Junction, and Mrs. Ben Sindt, Muscatine; 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, two daughters and three brothers.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Grace Evangelical & Reformed church with the Rev. Duane Meyer officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.
