Paula Marin, 65, of Conesville, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Born June 30, 1941, in Del Rio, Texas, she was the daughter of Melchor A. and Delfina G. Garcia Ramos. On Sept. 22, 1961, she married Humberto B. Marin in Muscatine.

Mrs. Marin worked at Louis Rich Foods turkey processing facility in West Liberty for 10 years.

She had been a Muscatine County resident since 1961 and attended the Church of the Living Water in Muscatine.

Survivors include four children, Maria G. Marin of Columbus Junction, Socorro M. Roman Romero of Conesville, Pat R. Marin of Fredonia and Humberto R. "Max" Marin, Jr. of San Antonio; 11 grandchildren; and four brothers, Melchor Ramos of Columbus Junction, and Raul Ramos, Ernest Ramos and Adrian Ramos, all of Del Rio.

She was preceded in death by her parents and ex–husband.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stacy–Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction.

The funeral for Mrs. Marin will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Stacy–Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Conesville Cemetery.
