Funeral services for George Pedersen, 51, who died Thursday at his home, were held Saturday in West Liberty Methodist church. Burial was in Oakridge cemetery.
Mr. Pedersen was born Nov. 3, 1905, in Germany. He had resided in West Liberty for 20 years and had been employed by the Ditmars, Kerr & Co. as a mechanic.
He married Dorothy Barkhurst Nov. 2, 1929, in West Branch.
He was a member of the Methodist church and the I.O.O.F.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Connor, Atalissa, and Betty Pedersen, at home; a brother, Russell, Wellman; three sisters, Mrs. John Walenta, Mrs. Francis Gruewell, and Mrs. George Lanthrope, all of West Branch, and his father, Axel Pedersen, West Branch.
