Funeral services for Mrs. Herbert Wilson, 57, were held Tuesday at West Liberty with the Rev. Raymond Orr in charge. Burial was in the Downey cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson died at her home in West Liberty Friday after an extended illness.

Fern, daughter of Levi W. and Minerva Borts Gates, was born April 3, 1900, at Downey. She was married to Herbert Wilson Jan. 2, 1922.

She is survived by her husband, a son Gaylord; a daughter, Mrs. Waneta Wear; a brother, Ivan, and six grandchildren, all of West Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
