Ralph Isabel, 45, of Route 2, West Liberty, died at his home Nov. 30 after a lingering illness.

He was born June 20, 1914, near West Liberty, the son of Asa and Pearl Cook Isabel. He was married to Lela Ridenour, Oct. 29, 1936, and they established a home on a farm near West Liberty.

Mr. Isabel was a member of the Moose club at Muscatine.

Survivors include his widow; parents, of Route 1, West Liberty; 2 daughters, Mrs. Nancy Wilson, West Branch and Mrs. Joyce Bickford, West Liberty, and 2 brothers, Joe, of West Liberty and Ray, Atalissa.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Methodist church in West Liberty with burial in Oakridge cemetery.
