Funeral services were held July 6 in Wilton Junction for Mrs. Ella Rife, 62, of route 4, Davenport, who died Thursday in Bellevue hospital at Muscatine after a long illness.

Burial was in Davenport Memorial park.

She was born Aug. 23, 1896, at Bennett. She was married to Charles B. Rife Feb. 9, 1981.

Survivors include the husband; 3 sons, Everett J. Rife, Wilton Junction, Melvin C. Rife, Muscatine, and Donald J. Rife, Wilton Junction; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Hagge, Durant; 4 brothers, Harry Steffen, Walcott, John Steffen, Wilton Junction, Ralph Steffen, New Liberty, and Raymond Steffen, Stockton; 3 sisters, Mrs. Rose Hanfeldt, Mrs. William Seifert and Mrs. Fred Lange, all of Davenport and her mother, Mrs. Minnie Steffen of Davenport.
