Hubert D. Cline, 57, a farm implement dealer in West Liberty for 22 years, died at Mercy hospital in Iowa City Sunday.
Mr. Cline, a native of Springfield, Ill., came to West Liberty from Iowa City 22 years ago and had owned and operated an implement firm.
He was born June 19, 1902, a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Cline. He attended schools in Illinois and also attended the University of Missouri at Columbia.
Mr. Cline was married to Ruby Presley, of Amarillo, Texas, Nov. 10, 1929.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, Bob, at home, and William, of West Liberty; his parents, of Iowa City; a brother, Kenneth, of Iowa City; a sister, Mrs. Frieda Craig, of St. Joseph, Mo., and two grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, Aug. 27 in the Methodist church with the Rev. Ray Orr officiating. Burial was in Oakridge cemetery.
