Funeral services for Mrs. C. W. Trail, 63, were held Feb. 23 at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilton Junction Methodist church. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mrs. Trail died Feb. 20 at her home after a brief illness.

The former Gladys Durant, a native of Forest City, she was married to Dr. C. W. Trail Feb. 8, 1916. The couple lived at Belle Plaine before coming to Durant in 1944.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. C. G. Branch, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Harlan Cook, Durant, and Mrs. William Tonkovich, Wilton Junction; two sisters, Mrs. Heister Moretz, Kensett, and Mrs. William Jube, Ventura, Calif.; two brothers, Richard Durant, St. Paul and Lawrence Durant, Garner, and 5 grandchildren.
