THREE-YEAR OLD SON OF JAMES PHILLIPS PASSES AWAY.

George Phillips, the three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Phillips, residing on the corner of Kansas street and Schley avenue, passed away about 11 o’clock last night at his home, the cause of his death being membranous croup. He has been ill at his home for the past week, but it was not until Sunday that his condition was considered serious. The little fellow was well liked among his friends and the sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved parents and children. He was born in this city June 15, 1903, and has spent his entire life here. Owing to the fact that the family has been quarantined, the funeral, which was held this afternoon, was private. The body was taken to the Kaiser cemetery this afternoon, where it was interred.
