Funeral services for M. A. Sander, 54, who died Monday in an Iowa City hospital, were conducted Wednesday.

The Rev. Denley Ganfield officiated. Burial was in Oakridge cemetery.

Mr. Sander was born at Muscatine, May 21, 1904, a son of Arthur and Selma Ludde Sander. He lived in Davenport prior to moving to West Liberty 28 years ago. He was married to Mary Boynes, June 5, 1929, at West Liberty.

Mr. Sander was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Masonic lodge, Kaaba Shrine, Knights of Pythias, Elks club, Chamber of Commerce and Lions club.
