Irvin O. Willhite, 75, 306 West Seventh street, a retired maintenance man, died suddenly of a heart ailment at 2:05 a.m. today in Muscatine General hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Riley funeral home. The Rev. Carl F. Clems will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.

Mr. Willhite, a native of Muscatine, was born Feb. 13, 1891. Hi parents were Michael and Phoebe Wright. He married Anna Schwob Steinbaugh March 19, 1934, in Missouri.

A resident of Muscatine most of his life, he lived in Fort Worth, Tex., from 1960 to 1965. He was a member of Muscatine Power Boat club.

His wife died in 1960. Surviving are two stepsons, Arthur Steinbaugh, Muscatine, and John Steinbaugh, Rock Island, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. C. L. (Inez) Moots, Muscatine, and Mrs. Otto (Beryl) Brade, Nichols; one sister, Mrs. Sylva Golightly, Muscatine, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One daughter and one sister are deceased.
