DIED SCHOOLEY - At his residence in West Liberty, Iowa, Monday morning June 20, 1881, Mr. Elisha Schooley.

Deceased was born Dec. 24, 1821, in Columbiana county, Ohio, moved to Iowa in the spring of 1846. Mr. Schooley has been a resident of West Liberty since 1839, and, although for years an invalid, has ever taken an interest in the prosperity and progress of our town. As a citizen and neighbor he commanded the respect of the entire community. His life has been of that higher type which will remain ever green in the memory of those with whom he came in contact. He leaves a wife to mourn his departure and a family of happily married daughters, also a married son, to all of whom the entire community extend their sympathy in this, the day of sorrow. --Enterprise.
