The funeral of Mrs. Mary E. DeForest was held Monday. She has been a resident of the vicinity of West Liberty for the past forty years. Her death occurred last Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, after suffering for the past two months with paralysis. She was born at Elizabeth, N.J., May 10, 1844. She is survived by six sons and one daughter. Her son-in-law, Jas. Singleton, died a week ago at Bedford.
