Mary Renshaw Adams, wife of Moses J. Adams, died at 12:30 o’clock Sunday morning, March 12. Mrs. Adams was born in Jo Davis county, Illinois, August 19, 1842. United in matrimony to Moses I. Adams, July 18, 1862. From this union were born five children, all of whom preceded her to the other world. Mrs. Adams leaves Moses I., her husband; Elisha and Marion Renshaw, brothers, Elisha resides in Nevada and Marion in Nichols, this county. Mrs. Adams, with her husband, resided in Adams, this county, since December 1868. She was beloved by all who knew her, for untiring aid to those in sickness and distress, often doing for others when sick and suffering herself. The remains were interred in Nichols cemetery, where the bodies of the children also rest.
