Columbus Junction – Funeral services have been tentatively set tentatively set for Friday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home of P.J. Mohnssen, 68, who died Monday evening at 7:50 at Winter Haven, Fla. He had been living at the Lake Deer Mobile Hamlet at Winter Haven.

Born June 11, 1902, in Sweetland township, Muscatine County, he was the son of John Henry and Rebecca Kautz Mohnssen.

He was married to the former Rose Trautman, She survives and also two children, Walter (Jack) Mohnssen, Letts, Mrs. Royal (June) Jennings, Winfield, eight grandchildren and one brother Otto Mohnssen, Muscatine.

Mr. Mohnssen was a retired farmer and implement dealer. He was Lutheran by faith.

The body will arrive Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery in Muscatine.
