Cow's Kick Fatal To Columbus Jct. Man, Father of 7

Columbus Junction, la., Aug. 31. - J. M. Tillard, who was kicked by a cow Friday evening while milking, passed away at about 7 o'clock Monday morning at the Bellevue hospital, Muscatine, where he was taken Saturday. Mr. Tillard was born at Illinois City, Ill., 56 years ago. He is survived by his wife and seven children, Elsie, Anna, Ruth, Estella, Louise, Robert and Irwin. He came from Illinois to West Liberty, where he resided one year, and then he moved to Nichols, where he resided seven years. The past year and one-half he had lived six miles south of Columbus Junction.
