LUCILLE BECHMANN
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Lucille R. Bechmann, 71, of Muscatine, died Friday, December 2, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Funeral Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Brian McNamara will officiate the service.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of George Bechmann.
Lucille was born on August 31, 1934, in Elroy, Wisconsin, the daughter of Carl and Gladys Koch Jensen. She married George W. Bechmann on November 13, 1954, in Muscatine.
She enjoyed embroidering and her family.
Survivors include her husband, George Bechmann of Muscatine; one son, Gary William Bechmann of Muscatine; five daughters, Susan Anderson and husband, Edward, of Morning Sun, Mary Phillips of Muscatine, Virginia Honea and husband, Robert Honea Jr., of Muscatine, Peggy Sanchez and husband, Santiago, of Muscatine and Brenda Bechmann and fiancé, Russell Husband, of Muscatine; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Duane Jensen of South Carolina and James Jensen of Muscatine; and three sisters, Katherine Hayes of Des Moines, Carla Dunnahoo of West Liberty, and Shirley Hillyer of Nichols. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, John Hillyer, two step-brothers, Almon Hillyer and Johnny Hillyer; and two step-sisters, Ethel Green and Genevieve Still.NOTES: 1953 Nichols High School Graduate
