Mrs. Hankins, 67, of Conesville, Goes in Death
Conesville – Mrs. Agnes Hankins, 67, died at Mercy hospital in Iowa City Wednesday at 9 p.m. after an illness of several months with complications. She had been a patient at the hospital for only a few days.
Agnes Van Horn, the daughter of Milton and Hannah Van Horn, was born at Conesville June 23, 1872, and had lived in this community most of her life. She was member of the Evangelical and Reformed church and of the Royal Neighbors of Conesville.
Surviving are two sons, Harold and Wayne, both of Conesville; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Hesseltine, also of Conesville; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Jean of Conesville, and Mrs. Enola Lee of Pasadena, Calif., and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Grace Evangelical and Reformed church with the Rev. E. Jassman of Oskaloosa, a former Conesville pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Conesville cemetery.Note: Wife of Timothy Wilson Hankins
