MASONS CONDUCT M’CLUN RITES

FORMER RESIDENT OF WEST LIBERTY BURIED TUESDAY

West Liberty, Ia., June 16. – Funeral services over the remains of Charles B. McClun were held at Oakridge cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock. The members of the Masonic lodge had charge of the services. Rev. Robert McIntueff, pastor of the Presbyterian church offered a prayer.
Charles B. McClun died at his home in Burlington, Sunday evening, June 10, after an illness of eight months. He was born in Marlboro, O., July 10, 1861, and came to West Liberty in 1877. He remained here until he was 21 years old, when he went to Burlington to make his home. For the past twenty-three years he was in the railway mail service and was held in high esteem everywhere he was known. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and of the Masonic order.
Mr. McClun was united in marriage to Miss Harriett Cheeseboro at Glen Falls, N. Y. , in 1884, and leaves the widow and one son, Edwin, also a sister, Miss Caroline McClun, of this city.
