Ralph G. (Pig) Lohr, 73, died at 7:00 p.m..at Muscatine General hospital following an extended illnesss. His home was at 610 Barry Ave.

He was born September 10, 1893 at Muscatine the son of George and Anna Hinkhouse.

Lohr and had been a life resident of Muscatine.

He married Blanche Cottrell at Chicago. Mr Lohr was a veteran of World War I, and a charter member of the Rotary club and American Legion. He was member of the First Baptist church of Muscatine and the Sioux Narrow United Church at Sioux Narrow, Ontario.

He formerly operated the Peter Products Co. until retiring a few years ago.

Many Muscatine residents will remember him as a member of the Big Musky basketball team of 1916.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Blanche Lohr, at home; and one son, Peter T. Lohr of New York, New York. His parents and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Ralph J. Wittch Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
