Mrs. Malcomlm Jameson, 74 Dies at Nichols; Funeral Tuesday – (Journal News Service) Nichols. – Mrs. Malcolm Jameson, 74, a resident of this community for about the past 50 years, died after home here Sunday between 4 and 5 p.m. Mrs. Jameson had been in failing health for several years. Death was caused by a stroke.

She was born on March 14, 1863, and her marriage to Malcolm Jamseon took place on Feb. 8, 1886.

Surviving are her husband and the following 10 children; Maude E., John, Ezra, Edmond, Raymond, Elmer, Oscar and Lester, all of Nichols, Verner of Muscatine and Susie Krueger of Lone Tree; 16 grandchildren; and a brother, Warren Cathes. Three children preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Christian church, with the Rev. Mina Hargis, pastor, officiating. The body will remain at the Kirchner Funeral home until final rites are held.
