WalcottRobert W. Dietz, 85, died peacefully at home on April 11, 2013. Robert was born in Wallcott, IA on April 9, 1927.
He is survived by his wife Rita, son Gary, daughters Lynn (David) Foreman, Teri (Mike) Mundell and Christine Dietz.
He was preceded in death by his son Robert Dietz Jr. Robert was a Navy veteran, proud of his service.
He owned and operated the well remembered Imperial House Restaurant for 20 years, beginning in 1974. Robert and wife Rita retired to FL in 1994; and after several years there, moved back to their beloved Ozarks in 2005.
Per Bob's request, no services were held. He will be laid to rest in Walcott, IA. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Fri 28 June 2013.
