DIED FRIDAY IN CHICAGO

Christian Sander, Former Resident of Sweetland Township, passes Away.
Rev. R.A. Schmidt received word this morning from Chicago announcing the death of Christian Sander Friday evening. Mr. Sander was one of the oldest settlers of Sweetland township, well known in Muscatine and the surrounding country. The last three years he had made his home in the German Baptist Old Friends’ Home of Chicago. The remains will be brought to this city for interment by Rev. J. Meier, leaving Chicago 11:30 Sunday night. They will be conveyed from the station to the German Baptist church for services at 2 p.m. Monday. Relatives and friends will please bear this in mind.
