MaryLou Wilson, 68, died Saturday December 9, 2000 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a short illness.
Funeral services were Tuesday December 12, 2000 at the Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Burial was at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty.
She was born January 7, 1932 in Hillsboro, Wisconsin, the daughter of Cyril Welford and Helen Margaret Brandon Marvin. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School in 1950. On May 12, 1956 she was married to Alfred L. Wilson at Dubuque, Iowa
During the Korean Conflict she worked at the Badger Ordinance Plant at Baraboo, Wisconsin and later with the Wisconsin Power and Light Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She enjoyed bowling, genealogy and was active for many years with Girl and Boy Scouts and 4-H.
She is survived by her husband Alfred. One daughter Lucinda “Cindy” Wilson of West Liberty. Three sons: twin sons; Timothy Wilson and his wife Jana of Nebraska City, Nebraska and Anthony Wilson of Wichita, Kansas, Michael Wilson and his wife Robin of Moscow. 12 grandchildren: Bethany Lyn, Rachael Anne, Lynn Marie, twins: Kathleen and Andrew, Anthony Lee II, Rose Marie, Dakotah Ryan, Christina Lynn, twins: Tiffany Dawn and Stephany Dyan, Kimberly Rae. A twin sister: BettyLou Martalock of Hillsboro, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sibling.
