Thomas C. Snider, 46, of Wilton, died March 4, 1992 at Muscatine General Hospital. Services were held March 7 at the United Methodist Church of Wilton with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were Roger Grunder, Warren Vitek, Jim Rice, Jim Grunder, Bob Grunder and Larry Robertson. Lacock Funeral Home in Wilton was in charge of the services. A memorial has been established.
Mr. Snider was born July 20, 1945, in Muscatine, a son of Hilbert and Janet Smith Snider. He married Sharon Ashcraft Oct. 16, 1968 in Wilton. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wilton, the Wahkonsa Country Club and the UAW No. 281. He worked at the John Deere Davenport Works for 28 years. He enjoyed golf.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon, two sons, Scott Snider and John Snider, both of Wilton; one daughter, Cindy (Mrs. Tracey) Christiansen of Long Island, NY; five grandsons; his parents, Hilbert and Janet Snider of Wilton; and one sister, Sally (Mrs. Doug) Beinke of Wilton. His grandparents preceded him in death.
