Atalissa, Iowa – Albert J. Daufeldt, 75, of Atalissa died Sunday at Lutheran Homes, Muscatine.

Services will be at 11 am. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Atalissa. Burial will be in Moscow Cemetery. Visitation is after noon today at Snider Funeral Home. A memorial has been established.

He retired in 1966 as owner of Atalissa Telephone Co. Mr. Daufeldt was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Penn Avenue range and American Legion and had served as Atalissa city clerk.

Survivors include sisters, Mrs. William (Mamie) Lovell, Rochester, and Mrs. Clifford (Myrtle) Dickey, Mechanicsville; and brothers, Clarence, West Liberty; Charles, Muscatine; and Harold “Sam,” Stockton.
